This was a great character project i worked on for my old friend Tom Sporers Studio.
I got on board early and did the rigging for all the characters and animated on the four commercials.
The greatest difficulty was to keep the face expressive and flexible, to meet the facial expressions of the designs and still maintain the square basic shape of the packaging.
The characters can open their mouths from a small “o” on the face side to an ultra-wide grin that reaches almost to the back, while still maintaining the angular shape and avoiding
any streching or compressing of the textures.
